I was there to pick up a Berry Chantilly cake for New Year. This is the first time I am trying this cake. I heard a lot of good things about it. And the cake was excellent. Cake was real soft, icing was of good quality and the fruit filling was delicious as well. There were a lot of Indian food in the prepared food counter. It looked good as well. Next time probably I should try some.

Came here for $12 for 12 oysters Prime deal Friday and a dessert. Since I came after work around 5 pm, there was only 4 options left and then there was a wait due to only 1 person working. In this economy, $12 for a dozen is a steal. Oysters were fresh and we cooked instead of eating them raw. Wish they carry more varieties of desserts in the bakery. Check out was efficient and plenty of parking.

The market selection was great. Went for something else and it smelt amazing. Have gotten to try to a few cheeses I never would've gotten because of the small cheese area. Would recommend. They have underground parking so you don't have to walk in the cold. Large selection.

Fun shopping experience and friendly staff, but....poor stocking has been an issue in recent months. Lot of key items are completely empty...these tend to be the same items trip after trip too. eg organic bulk onions, bulk self-grind peanut butter (honey and plain), organic bulk lentils, organic cheese, etc... The hotbar has been downscaled...several of the vats are now completely empty with nothing in them. They no longer sell dal soup which was a great recipe. Much of the bakery is now much more limited...eg they used to sell a great zucchini muffin...no more. They used to have sweet bar with cookies, samples, and bars...that got turned into a bland coffee station. The store used to be great with free samples, but whenever I go there now, It's not that I don't see many...I don't see any. I thought I remember a bread slicer which is really handy for keeping bread both fresh and convenient...but there isn't one in the store (unlike other Whole Foods). It's still a nice store, but it's said to see how both inventory and selection have regressed in recent times.

The new Whole Foods Market is an enormous change from the old store which was just down the street. Enormous in size for sure and enormous in the selection of items too. It's truly a destination shopping experience. One pro tip is to be sure to use your Amazon Prime membership to get additional discounts. You can even pay using the Amazon app or scan your handprint. My only negative is the building itself, which is pretty stark. It mimics the nearby Target store with the integrated covered parking, which is great for the adverse weather. It just gives the experience more of a commercial office building feel. I guess it's a compromise to get used to.

I shopped here on Tuesday 6/13/2023. I usually shop at the Whole Foods closer to home, but was in the area, and decided to grab a few items. I was very impressed with the Madison location. The store was very clean, organized, and well-stocked. They had some great deals on items that were on sale, and it was cool to see some of their local products and other items that are not available at the Whole Foods in Illinois where I live. A shout-out to Kaleb for being an excellent cashier, and to Dalinee at Customer Service. I'll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area.
